Committing to the Use of Recycled Materials!
In France, the production of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is estimated at 2 million tons per year, which corresponds to the weight of 240 Eiffel Towers.
Since January 1, 2021, the State requires manufacturers to inform consumers about the reparability of electronic and electrical devices:
“The collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) must be accompanied by sorting, selective treatment and recovery of the waste. It is implemented by the company, or entrusted to approved eco-organizations. This concerns all equipment that operates by means of electric currents or electromagnetic fields, as well as equipment for the production, transfer and measurement of these currents and fields.”
Indeed, many electronic products are made up of numerous pollutants and substances that are dangerous for the planet. Moreover, this waste, whose volumes are growing significantly, is a source of raw materials that can be recovered and reused by companies.
Therefore, for many years, Technology has been committed to using materials from recycled devices in its manufacturing process for new products. Thus, recycling allows the saving of natural resources and contributes to prevent the environment from the pollution generated by the production of new materials.
Through this commitment, we support sustainable development by promoting a circular economy. Thus, we reduce the environmental impact of the standard life cycles of our products in the supply of the company and our customers.
